Romania is to join the UPC on 1 September 2024, and so will be covered by any Unitary Patent registered after that date.
On Friday 21 June, Dehns Attorneys attended an Oral Hearing at the Unified Patent Court (UPC) in Paris on behalf of longstanding client, Carrier Corporation. The case was the first to have been filed at the Paris branch of the UPC Central Division and was only the 5th hearing to have been held there.
