Many congratulations to Dehns Associate Jacob Watfa, who has recently achieved his Master of Intellectual Property Law and Management qualification.

Dehns is delighted and proud to report that we have two national prize-winners from the recent CIPA Patent exams.

Dehns is pleased to announce several new partner, senior associate and associate promotions, effective from 1 April 2023.

To celebrate Black History Month, Dehns hosted a Caribbean and African lunch for everyone across all of our offices.  Employees got to taste a mix of authentic foods and learnt about the history of some of the dishes and flavours we experienced. We also started a book club, selecting a novel written by black author, Caleb Azumah Nelson entitled ‘Open Water’.

Dehns is delighted to have several of our attorneys recognised  as “Rising Stars” and “Notable Practitioners” in the 2022 IP Stars publication.

On the 27th September Dehns took part in Oslo Innovation Week 2022. Our theme for this year’s event was “Greentech, circular economy and open innovation – the role of intellectual property”.

Dehns is delighted to have successfully retained its Tier 1 ranking in the PATMA: Patent Attorneys category of the latest The Legal 500 rankings. Our Trade Mark Group also retained its ranking in the PATMA: Trade Mark category.

Dehns recently welcomed nine undergraduates to our London, Brighton and Oxford offices as part of our new partnership with the charity Generating Genius.

We are delighted to announce that Lauren Palmer won the “Best Patent Paralegal” Award at the National Paralegal Awards ceremony held in Birmingham on 22 September.
