The AIPPI Annual Congress is one of the biggest IP events in the global calendar, covering a variety of different topics each year.

This years conference will be focusing on:

  • Exploring when overriding interests justify a compulsory license, the conditions attached, and relevant procedural mechanism
  • Addressing the challenges of international exhaustion and its practical implications for rights holders
  • Focusing on the use of copyrighted content to train AI systems, including the legal consequences of such usage, such as prohibitions on output exploitation
  • Assessing the liability of plaintiffs for harm suffered by defendants when preliminary injunctions are granted but the claims are later dismissed

If you would like to arrange a meeting at the event please contact Adrian and/or Kerry directly or via LinkedIn.
