Philip joined the Dehns Brighton office in September 2025 as a Trainee Patent Attorney.
He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First class integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences (Physics).
His final year project involved designing an atmospheric dispersion corrector for use in the Magdalena Ridge Interferometry Telescope in New Mexico.
Philip Acts for a range of clients both in the UK and globally. Philip mainly handles prosecution of cases in the UK, Europe and United States.
Philip has particular experience handling patent applications in the fields of electronics, microprocessors, computing, software, power electronics, cooling towers and control systems.
