Jack Brogan

Background

Jack joined Dehns Brighton in September 2025 as a Trainee Patent Attorney. He graduated from the University of Southampton with an integrated Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout his studies he was involved in several design projects, ranging from building a prototype post-knee replacement recovery device to his master’s group project of designing, manufacturing, and testing a variable pitch propeller for a fixed-wing UAV.

Type of clients and client work

Jack works with a variety of engineering clients, including SMEs and large multinational companies. His work includes prosecution of patent applications in the UK and Europe.

Expertise

Jack works across a variety of areas throughout Materials Science and Engineering, with a particular focus on aerospace-related subject matter.
