Background

Christian is a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney, and became an Associate with the firm in 2023. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and has been with the firm since 2016.

 

Types of clients and client work

Christian works for a variety of clients, ranging from large multinational companies to individual inventors. His work includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications in UK and Europe, coordinating prosecution in other jurisdictions including the US, handling design registrations in UK and Europe, and conducting opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO, with extensive experience acting for both patentee and opponent.

 

Expertise

Christian handles patent and design work in a wide variety of engineering fields. His current technical focus is aerospace engineering, though his background in chemical and process engineering also provides a broad foundation which he applies to his work across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials science.
