Dehns is delighted to welcome two highly respected IP professionals who will play pivotal roles in advancing the firm’s strategic ambitions. Benoit Geurts joins as Head of IP Consulting, while Dr Coreena Brinck joins as Head of AI Development.
Building a stronger consulting capability
Benoit brings over two decades of international experience delivering IP strategy, valuation, risk assessment and transaction advisory services to technology companies, private equity firms and global investors. He has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex global IP projects, and developing commercial IP solutions that help organisations make informed strategic decisions.
At Dehns, Benoit will spearhead the growth of the firm’s consulting offering, ensuring clients benefit from commercial, technical and legal insight under one roof. Driving innovation through AI leadership
Coreena joins Dehns with a unique blend of technical depth and industry leadership in AI, telecommunications, advanced computing and computer implemented inventions. With senior in-house and private practice roles including at Nokia Technologies, BT, Nortel Networks and CMS, she has extensive experience in portfolio management, litigation support, IP strategy and organisational transformation. She is also a frequent speaker and published commentator on AI, IP strategy and emerging technologies.
Her role will be central to enhancing Dehns’ use of AI internally and in client delivery—developing tools, shaping best practice, and ensuring the firm continues to lead in a rapidly evolving environment.
