18th July to 17th August marks ‘South Asian Heritage Month’, which commemorates and celebrates South Asian cultures, histories and communities.

The month seeks to understand the diverse heritage and cultures that continue to link the UK with South Asia.  This includes food, clothing, music, words and the overall ambiance of towns and cities in Britain.

Dehns celebrated South Asian Heritage month by hosting a lunch at each of our offices.  We enjoyed food which was represented from different regions of South Asia.  The London office enjoyed the flavours of Afghanistan food whilst the Brighton office came together to enjoy food from Bangladesh.  Employees were able to experience different foods and celebrate different cultures.

In addition to this, we have started a book club and selected “I Am Malala” by Malala Yousafzai to read and discuss over the course of South Asian Heritage Month.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!
