Tiernan is a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, having qualified in 2024. He joined Dehns in 2021 after completing both an undergraduate degree in Law and a master’s degree in International Law at the University of Bristol, achieving First Class Honours and a Distinction respectively. During his time at Bristol, he received a letter of commendation from the Law School and developed a strong interest in intellectual property law, particularly trade mark law.
Tiernan advises a broad range of clients, from individual entrepreneurs to multinational corporations, on UK, EU, and international trade mark matters. He works with clients operating across various industries, including cosmetics, energy, finance, food and drink, entertainment, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and software.
