To celebrate Black History Month, Dehns hosted a Caribbean and African lunch for everyone across all of our offices.  Employees got to taste a mix of authentic foods and learnt about the history of some of the dishes and flavours we experienced. In London, we used the opportunity to socialise in our new break-out area!

Being in IP, we also learnt about black inventors.  Special thanks goes to Melissa Lever, one of our trainees, who wrote an article about Lewis Latimer, a black inventor hero and Nikolle Medford, Trade Mark Assistant who kindly put together information about the history of the dishes/flavours we experienced.  We also started a book club, selecting a novel written by black author, Caleb Azumah Nelson entitled ‘Open Water’.

This has been a great success amongst our employees!
