Dehns is pleased to announce that Graham Burnett‑Hall is joining the firm and will become Head of Litigation, further strengthening its capability in high‑value, complex IP disputes.
Graham brings more than 25 years’ experience in intellectual property litigation, with a strong track record handling technically and legally complex disputes before the UK Patents Court and Court of Appeal. Graham will also bring his considerable experience to further strengthen Dehns’ substantial UPC practice. He joins Dehns from a Top 30 national law firm, having previously spent over two decades at a UK-based IP law firm, where he played a key role in building a highly regarded patent litigation practice.
Graham has acted for leading global organisations including Roche, Pfizer and Sun Pharma on significant patent disputes spanning pharmaceuticals, biologics, electronics and industrial technologies.
He is recognised in IAM Patent 1000 and IP Stars for his “highly diverse offering” and ability to handle complex technical mandates, and is also ranked by Legal 500 and Lexology Index.
Commenting on his appointment, Graham said:
“I’m delighted to be joining Dehns at such an exciting point in its growth. The firm has an outstanding reputation in intellectual property, and I look forward to working with colleagues to further develop its litigation offering and support clients navigating increasingly complex, multi‑jurisdictional disputes.”
Adrian Samuels, Managing Partner at Dehns, commented:
“Graham is a highly respected litigator with an outstanding track record. His appointment represents a significant step in enhancing further our litigation offering. Graham’s experience and reputation will be invaluable for our continued investment in strategic growth.”
Importantly, this appointment builds on a series of recent senior hires across the firm, including Benoit Guerts as Dehns’ Head of IP Consulting, Coreena Brinck as Head of AI Development and Howard Read, who has joined our Oslo office as Patent Director. By bringing in exceptional talent across key practice areas, we are continuing to strengthen our capabilities and provide clients with a truly expert, end-to-end intellectual property offering worldwide.
