Records Paralegal/Administrator – London/Oxford/Brighton/Bristol/Manchester Office
We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to work within our Records team, handling patent and trade mark records processing. The role involves dealing with all aspects of patent and trade mark prosecution from maintaining records to contacting clients regarding records information and working with foreign attorneys to execute the work.
Candidates should have around 2 years records experience, gained either in a corporate in-house department or an IP firm. The successful applicant will be experienced working with patent and trade mark records processing and have a good level of general knowledge about the filing and examination processes, particularly for European and UK patents. Applicants will also ideally have a good working knowledge of Inprotech (records system application). A CIPA and/or CITMA Administrators qualification is also a benefit.
Applicants must be able to work both within a team and be self-motivated and capable of getting the job done to a high standard without constant supervision. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. The role demands good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in order to meet strict legal deadlines.
