Thomas joined Dehns in 2013 having graduated from Oxford University with a first class Master of Chemistry degree in 2009 and having completed a DPhil in organic chemistry, also at Oxford University. Thomas qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2018.
Type of clients and client work
He works with clients ranging from large multinational companies to individual inventors. He is involved with the drafting of new patent applications, all aspects of patent prosecution, as well as opposition and appeal procedures before the EPO.
Thomas handles a wide range of work in the chemistry sector. In particular he has been involved with applications relating to: foodstuffs, chewing gums, coatings, paints, materials, alloys, polymers, cables, pharmaceuticals and drug delivery.
