Philippa joined Dehns in 2014 having completed a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge and a Master of Chemistry degree at the University of Oxford. Philippa qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2018.

She works for a wide variety of clients including start-ups, universities and multinational corporations. Her work includes drafting new applications and prosecuting patent applications worldwide.
Philippa’s work involves handling patents in a wide range of chemical fields including: medical devices, pharmaceuticals, petrochemistry, electronic materials, and food technology.

In the final year of her undergraduate degree Philippa undertook a research project studying electron transfer in proteins.
