Kiran graduated with a First Class Honours MPhys degree in physics from the University of Manchester, spending the third year of his course studying at the University of California, San Diego. He went on to obtain a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Manchester, spending two years working at the Large Hadron Collider in CERN, Switzerland, as a member of the ATLAS collaboration. His PhD thesis has been published by Springer as part of their Thesis Awards series.
Subsequently he spent three years working as a Research Scientist at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, on topics related to Cone Beam CT imaging of cancer patients.
Kiran joined the firm in 2017 and handles patent work in a variety of physics and engineering fields.
