Managing Partner
Roberto Calamita joined the firm in 1985. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford where he obtained an Honours Degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry). His studies at Oxford included a research project in Pharmacology and Physical Chemistry and he worked as a vacation student in the National Coal Board Research Centre.
Roberto obtained a distinction in the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary College, University of London. He handles patent work in a number of chemical fields, particularly polymers, alloys and materials as well as working extensively in trade marks.
