Catherine graduated from the University of Oxford in 1999 with a Masters Degree in Chemistry, having been awarded the University Turbutt Prize for practical organic chemistry. Catherine obtained a PhD at the Royal Institution of Great Britain and University College, London for research in the field of solid-state chemistry and subsequently researched Hydrogen Storage Materials as part of the UK Sustainable Hydrogen Energy Consortium.
Catherine joined the firm in 2006 and has the Certificate in IP Law from Queen Mary College, London (2007). Catherine qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2010, and as a UK and European Trade Mark Attorney in 2011.
Catherine handles patent work in the chemical field, and has experience of handling trade mark portfolios for a variety of clients, for example in the fields of food and drink, publishing and entertainment.
