| IT Manager | London | We have a vacancy for an experienced IT Manager with 5+ years leading a technical team of at least 4 persons within a larger department environment, or 3+ years as an IT department manager reporting to an IT Director. This is a hands-on role with a small team where you can expect 50% of your day to be occupied with direct technical work, and the remainder of your time will provide true leadership to the department. You will be strongly ‘solution’-focused rather than ‘problem’-focused. You will be able to prepare regular departmental reports and provide guidance on how the business should be using IT to their advantage. An ability to make compelling presentations to the management and to relate IT to the needs of the business is key to your success. You must be able to translate your vision of IT to value for the business. Familiarity with delegation and resource allocation, status reporting, risk management, change management, issue management are all essential Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE - Window Server 2003) required.
